2) What colours are available?

A: There are ten different standard colours available. List the colours

3) What Styles are available?

A: Turtle King Scooters are built in Vespa Scooter Style.

4) How far can I travel on a full charge?

A: 65 Kilometres.

5) What are the warranty details?

A: Full 4 Year parts and labour warranty. One year warranty on the battery.

6) How much is a replacement Battery?

A: X

7) What is the Scooters top speed?

A: The Scooter top speed is set to 45KPH, to ensure 65Km distance with each charge.

8) How much is Road Tax on my Scooter?

A: €31 per annum.

9) Where is the warranty/service work carried out?

A: At our workshop in Baldoyle Industrial Estate, Dublin 13, which was established in 1985.

10) How much does it cost to charge a Scooter?

A: 70 Cents approx, for a full charge.

11) Where can I charge my Scooter?

A: From any normal wall socket.

12) Do I need a special plug for charging my Scooter?

A: No

13) How many Electric Scooters have been sold to date in Ireland?

A: There are in excess of 100 Scooters sold since Jan. There have been thousands of Turtle King Electric Scooters manufactured and sold since their inception in 2004.

14) Who purchases Turtle King Electric Scooters?

A: People who want low cost, reliable local transport solutions, that are environmentally friendly.

15) Can the Scooters be used as a work vehicle?

A: Yes, PIZZA HUT currently use these Scooters for deliveries in Dublin. Other fast food outlets also use them. Carry boxes can be fitted.

16) Can Custom Colours be provided?

Yes, we can supply any colour as a custom supply.

17) How large is the charger unit?

A: The charger unit is the size of a Laptop Computer charger unit. It is designed to fit under the seat on the Scooter.

18) Can the scooter be partially charged?

A: Yes

19) What are the emissions from my Scooter?

A: ZERO emissions

20) What is the service interval?

A: There is no recommended service interval as unlike fosil fuel engines, there is no oil change required or other engine parts which require regular servicing and cleaning.

21) Do I need a licence to drive my Scooter?

A: YES minimum required license is M, Minimum age16.

22) What maintenance is required for my Scooter?

A: The elements that need maintenance are Brake Pads and Tyres after approx 20,000 Kms.

23) If I crash or damage my Scooter, how can I get it fixed?

A: We carry a full range of spare parts to fix damaged Scooters. We can also proide you with a hire Scooter, while we fix yours.

24) Do the Scooters conform to EU standards?

A: YES, the Scooters have a certificate of manufacture which conforms to appropriate EU standards.
